I am currently hosting a documentary on the Narmada Issue:

In-Just Land

In association with Pedestrian Pictures, Thandora presents a movie shot in the villages of Madhya Pradesh. After the height of the Sardar Sarovar Project rises to 121 metres, these areas will be submerged on the onset of monsoons in 2006. Shot in April 2006, this video demonstrates how no relief and rehabilitation has been provided to these people, who will soon loose the lands of their ancestors. The R&R measures exist only on paper. The people refuse to vacate their homes till they are provided irrigable land as per the Narmada award. Contact the creators at pedepics@yahoo.com.

Pedestrian Pictures

Since the official website of Pedestrain Pictures is still not yet up, I thought I will put some information about them here.

Here are some links to media coverage of their prior work.

Please do mail Pedestrian pictures at pedepics@yahoo.com to encourage them.
